The buyer, U&S Services, Inc., is an international building controls company with a focus on energy and operational optimization. With over 25 years in the industry, U&S Services has partnered with public and private sector organizations to solve complex energy issues. The acquisition of SmartEdge allows U&S Services to further expand its client list, service offerings, and skilled employee base, as they continue their aggressive growth efforts.
Paramax Corporation, which led the deal negotiations for Smart Edge, is a FINRA-registered investment banking firm focused on advising companies and shareholders in sell-side M&A transactions. Paramax is headquartered in Williamsville, NY with an International reach through its partnership in Globalscope Partners, a group of international corporate finance and business advisors operating globally to support M&A transactions.
