Things are anything but normal right now at Paramax Corp.
The Williamsville-based investment banking firm is one of the biggest local names in mergers and acquisitions. It has been flying for years now on the back of a strong national economy, low-interest rates and a wave of Baby Boomers looking to sell their companies.
But Russell D’Alba, Paramax president and managing director, said the panic that has coursed through the public markets in the past few weeks hasn’t exactly translated to M&A.
