Since joining Paramax in 2012, Don has been active in all phases of sell-side, buy-side, valuation, and consulting projects. He has participated in thirty-six projects, more than half of which were sell-side transactions. He has experience advising in M&A transactions across a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, professional services, business services, food and beverage, construction, printing, and IT.
Don’s primary responsibility at this time is business development, especially in Rochester and the Finger Lakes. Given his belief that these geographies are under-served from an M&A advisory perspective, Don is focused on educating, informing, and advising business owners and business advisors on the value of M&A advisory services and why Paramax is the premier choice in town.
Before joining Paramax, Don was a Director of Corporate Development at Eastman Kodak Company. At Kodak, he built his deep understanding of M&A processes through his work on more than fifty completed domestic and international acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture transactions that frequently included carve-out “strings.” Prior to that, Don held operational roles, including in information systems, production and inventory management, and strategic planning.
Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics. He is a registered Investment Banking Representative and holds FINRA Series 62, 63, and 79 licenses.
