Specializing in Part 91 and Part 135 flight departments globally, FCU offers both contract crew and permanent placement services. Its clientele includes Fortune 500 companies, private flight departments, aircraft management firms, and fractional share providers.
The buyer, Reliance Aerotech Inc. (“Reliance”) (www.reliance.aero), specializes primarily in providing mechanic and support staffing services to aerospace organizations worldwide. Reliance’s client base includes major aerospace manufacturers, operators, and service organizations in both civilian and military sectors. With offices and facilities in Pensacola, FL, Smyrna, TN, Toronto, ON, and Bolton, ON, Reliance and its affiliates are strategically located to serve their global clientele. The acquisition of Flight Crews Unlimited enhances Reliance’s service offerings providing an enhanced suite of services including: mission staffing, direct hire and contract to direct recruitment, task order and project-based service fulfilment, and technical labor force advisory services, for not just aircraft maintenance professionals, but also for flight crews.
