Gerster Sales & Service, Inc. was acquired by Ingersoll-Rand plc. Paramax Corporation served as the exclusive financial advisor to Gerster on this transaction. The acquisition of Gerster, an independent franchise of Trane and a leading regional provider of indoor comfort systems & comprehensive facility solutions, provides Trane a corporate presence in the Western New York market, further expanding Trane’s national market reach. The Company will continue to operate from its current location in Williamsville, New York.

Gerster Sales & Service, Inc. has been an authorized distributor of Trane heating and air conditioning equipment and parts since 1980. The Company sells new equipment and replacement parts, as well as provides design, retrofitting, and repair and maintenance services to commercial customers throughout Western New York State and Northwestern Pennsylvania. The Company will continue to operate from its current location in Williamsville, New York.
