Paramax is pleased to announce the promotion of Griffin O’Brien to Associate. Griffin’s promotion reflects the impact he has made in a relatively short time at Paramax, as well as the strong foundation he has built as an investment banking professional.
Since joining the firm in January 2025, Griffin has played an important role across transactions and client engagements, bringing strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a thoughtful approach to execution. His collaborative style and positive attitude have strengthened deal teams and supported successful outcomes for clients.
Prior to joining Paramax, Griffin gained two years of experience at Deloitte in the audit department, where he worked on both public and private engagements and executed audit procedures in high-risk areas. He is a New York State Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Canisius University’s Richard J. Wehle School of Business, where he earned an MBA in Professional Accounting and a BS in Accounting and Finance.
Outside of the office, Griffin enjoys staying active and traveling with friends and family.
